Versace apartments – a private fashion house in the sky

Versace apartments is an exclusive residential interior designed by Danica Space per a private client da the United States. Our brief was clear: create a luxurious apartment that feels like living inside a Versace Home campaign, while keeping the layout highly functional, comfortable per long stays, e technically up a date.

As an architettura e interior design studio per villas e homes, we developed the full interior architettura, furniture layout, FF&E package e build-ready drawings, so the progetto can be implemented con precision e minimal risk on site.

Client brief: an American client, a European apartment, a Versace lifestyle

The client, based in the US, wanted a European apartment that expresses a strong personal identity e a lifelong love of Italian fashion. The space had a work both as a comfortable home e as a representative apartment per meeting friends, partners e guests.

Key points of the brief:

  • a luxury apartment interior with a clear Versace signature;
  • open-plan living e dining area per hosting 6–8 people;
  • a calm, hotel-like master suite e flexible guest room / home office;
  • generous storage, integrated appliances e smart lighting scenes;
  • sustainable, energy-efficient solutions wherever possible.

Instead of reproducing a showroom, we translated Versace’s visual language—Medusa, Greca, baroque pattern e bold silhouettes—into a warm, livable apartment interior.

Versace Home collections as the DNA of the interior

For this progetto we curated furniture e décor da several Versace Home collections, combining iconic pieces con custom carpentry e architectural details. Versace Home extends the fashion house’s glamour into furniture, lighting, wallpaper e home décor, turning everyday rooms into immersive brand experiences.

In the main living area, the composition is built around soft, sculptural seating da the La Medusa family – sofa e armchairs con the signature Medusa detail e rounded silhouettes. A low marble Iconic coffee table e side tables pick up the metallic accents in polished gold, while a Greca-border rug grounds the entire lounge.

The dining zone continues the theme con a statement table e slim Stiletto-inspired legs, paired con upholstered chairs that echo the graphic geometry of Versace heels. Additional seating modules reference the V21 Signature collection, giving the client the flexibility a reconfigure the space per larger gatherings.

The result is a luxury apartment where every room contains recognisable Versace Home pieces, but the overall impression is curated e architectural rather than overloaded.

Interior architettura, zoning e materials

Behind the recognisable Versace furniture is a carefully planned piece of interior architettura. Danica Space re-organized the apartment into three main zones:

  • Representative front zone – entrance, guest bathroom, open-plan living e dining;
  • Private master suite – bedroom, dressing room, en-suite bathroom;
  • Flexible wing – guest bedroom that can shift into a home office o media room.

The material palette starts da a calm base: champagne-toned stone, warm ivory walls e softly reflective ceilings. On this canvas we layer Versace’s black e gold accents, deep greens e rich burgundy details. Custom joinery in natural wood con lacquered inlays frames the Medusa e Greca motifs instead of competing con them.

Hidden storage, integrated wardrobes, e full-height doors maintain clean sightlines, so the Versace furniture e décor remain the main visual focus. All key drawings—walls, ceilings, lighting, built-ins—are coordinated using the same BIM-driven workflow we apply a our architectural projects, reducing clashes e change orders during fit-out.

Sustainable comfort behind the glamour

Even in a highly decorative apartment, we keep our sustainability standards. The Versace apartments design includes:

  • 100% LED lighting with dimmable scenes e presence sensors in transitional zones;
  • climate-tuned shading e zoning, connected a smart home controls a reduce energy use;
  • long-life materials—natural stone, engineered wood, high-quality metals—selected per durability rather than fast fashion;
  • energy-efficient built-in appliances e water-saving fixtures.

These decisions follow the same logic as in our passive e Active House projects: comfort, air quality e energy performance are designed alongside aesthetics, not as an afterthought.
